RDI energy

RDI is an Arizona-based Waste-to-Energy (WTE) development company comprised of qualified professionals who provide complete turnkey facilities using a variety of waste streams as their fuel sources.

RDI also provides complete desalinization and brackish water purification systems designed specifically for project requirements.

For too long waste has been seen as a problem, but with the various technologies that have been developed and improved upon over the past few decades, it is now part of the global solution for meeting renewable energy requirements and needs, while satisfying a number of other issues as well, in a very clean and efficient way.

  • Waste-to-Energy encourages recycling while making use of almost all types of municipal and industrial combustible waste to fuel the plant.

  • It can help keep existing landfills open indefinitely by significantly reducing the volume of waste being deposited with combustibles, recyclables and inert materials being reused instead of being buried.  The costs associated with maintaining a capped landfill would also be eliminated.

  • A municipality, military base or Tribe can use their own waste to produce their own power.

  • Officially recognized as a renewable energy source by the Federal government, WTE can help reduce the carbon footprint, as a high percentage of its emissions are typically generated from carbon neutral waste fuels.

  • The more the population grows, the more garbage and other wastes are produced, along with an increased demand for electrical power.  WTE satisfies both of these issues.

As potable and agricultural/industrial water are becoming more scarce, the need for desalting seawater or cleaning up brackish or polluted water is greater than ever.  RDI is linking water conversion projects to WTE projects to bring down the operating cost of the desalination process, thus making it affordable to municipalities and other entities.
